## Good to know before choosing

- **Masking reduces risk, but is not a guarantee.** Names and places are identified by an AI model that can miss data. Accuracy is measured openly and one hundred per cent is never promised. [See test results and limitations](https://maskera.dev/en/accuracy).
- **No lock-in at the core.** The open-source packages are MIT-licensed and continue to work without Gateway or consulting support.
